Feet and Legs

Skin Capture Exposure

I remember not liking feet, there is something too functional about them, a poor second to the hands. Lots of people seem almost phobic about feet, perhaps its the association with smelly feet, fungal infections, dirt, hard dry skin and old people complaining about their aching feet.

I like feet, cleanish ones. I love the fine soft wrinkly skin underneath, the hard skin on the heels, the springiness of toes and the veins. My own feet are broad, for walking on bogs and the skin between a couple of my toes is slightly webbed as I am part man, part duck. As I took the pictures I found a large area of hard worn skin on one of my heels that I wasn’t even aware of – feet are often neglected, mine are no exception.

The backs of my legs are more crinkly than I realised, its not easy to see them in a mirror. Large veins are beginning to buldge.
